This 70-mile paved route begins in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, and goes southeast through the rolling hills of Bellevue. It goes under the double-arch Natchez Trace Bridge on State Route 96, continues south on State Route 46 to Leipers Fork, and then proceeds to the Natchez Trace Parkway, taking it for 14 miles to the northern terminus.
