This 277-mile paved route connects three historic forts in Arizona. It starts in Pinetop and continues to Fort Apache, then Fort Verde in Camp Verde, and finally Fort Whipple in Prescott. Highlights include SR-260 along the Mogollon Rim and SR-89A through Jerome and over the summit of Mount Mingus.
