Start your day with a delicious Colombian breakfast at the 'Queso y Cafe' restaurant in the outskirts of Pereira, before riding up towards La Florida and La Suiza, two small, rural farming towns outside the city. The road up to La Florida is fully paved, but past that is a gravel road with some narrow spots. Often muddy and with small creeks running through it, this roads is surrounded by all sorts of flora and fauna, so keep an eye out for any wild animals that may be crossing the road, or dragging themselves across it like sloths tend to do. Past the town of La Suiza, you'll reach the secluded farm, Buenos Aires (yarumoblanco.co/producto/cascada-los-frailes), where you'll get the chance to hike through the rainforest and sanctuary that leads to 'Los Frailes' waterfall. An approximately 70m (230ft) tall waterfall with the purest waters you can get from the 'Laguna del Otun'.
