Pearl Pass OHV Trail
Pearl Pass Trail is an approximately 3.4 mile point-to-point off-road route located northeast of Crested Butte, Colorado. Beginning on Pearl Pass Road 738t a crossing of Middle Brush Creek, and ending atop Pearl Pass, the route follows a dirt/rock trail (wide enough to accommodate most 4X4 vehicles) from a starting elevation of 10,715ft to a final elevation of 12,723ft. Pearl Pass Trail offers panoramic views of the surrounding alpine landscape and its many peaks, meadows, waterfalls and streams. In terms of difficulty the route is rated as “Moderate”. Due to the terrain involved, it is recommended that only vehicles with adequate off-road capability attempt this trail. Pearl Pass Trail is a seasonally restricted route, and is usually impassable to wheeled vehicles during the winter, spring, and sometimes into the early summer. It is recommended to check current conditions with the local USFS district office prior to taking on this route. All vehicles must remain on designated roads and trails.
