The Snake Ride is the most popular and most difficult of all the Southern Dozen rides. In one 37 mile section, you’ll take more than 480 curves while crossing three mountains. Take in the scenery as you snake through the Tennessee mountains to Stoney Creek and cross into the pastoral Shady Valley. From there, roar your way up to Backbone Rock, with outcroppings, hiking trails, and beautiful photo ops before returning through peaceful Mountain City.
