Yankee Doodle Trail, Bradshaw Trail, S Senator Highway Loop
Starting and ending in the small town of Potato Patch, this 48 mile loop provides a sample of some of the single track, twin track, and dirt road riding that the Prescott National Forest has to offer. The route first heads southeast on Dandrea Trail 0285 for a short distance before turning south onto Yankee Doodle Trail 0284. The route then turns southeast onto S Senator Hwy (Forest Road 52) and leads to a left fork onto Bradshaw Trail 0216. The Bradshaw Trail eventually terminates at FR 52. Here the route takes a short jaunt east to Del Pasco Mine, where a variety of mining equipment still rests at the claim that first struck gold in the 1870's. From Del Pasco Mine, the route follows S Senator Hwy (Forest Road 52) north back to Potato Patch. Riders should expect technical sections of terrain on both Yankee Doodle and Bradshaw Trail. In terms of difficulty this route is rated as "Moderate". Trail conditions may vary. A USFS-approved spark arrestor is required to ride these trails.
