RIDER MAGAZINE: Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan
This 205-mile paved route explores the "Copper Country" of the Keweenaw Peninsula, which is part of Michigan's larger Upper Peninsula. It begins in Ontonagon and includes Houghton, Hancock, Eagle River, Copper Harbor, Gay, and Traverse Bay. Highlights include the George Hite Dunes and Marshes Preserve, Keweenaw National Historical Park, Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, Brockway Mountain, and Bete Grise Wetlands Preserve.
