This 73-mile paved route includes the Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism's Scenic Ride #1: Lake Moomaw-Humpback Bridge. This particular route begins and ends in Clifton Forge, Virginia. Highlights include the town of Covington, the Midland Trail (U.S. Route 60), Humpback Bridge, Lake Moomaw, Fall Springs Falls, and the C&O Railway Heritage Center. This is the Day 1 route of a two-day motorcycle tour of Alleghany Highlands published in the September 2024 issue of Rider magazine.
