This 1000-mile paved loop route starts on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Waynesboro, Virginia, and follows the parkway to its southern terminus in Cherokee, North Carolina. Highlights include rides on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tail of the Dragon (U.S. 129), North Carolina Highway 28 (Moonshiner 28), NC Highway 209 (The Rattler), and South Carolina highways 11, 130, and 281, as well as stops at the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum, The Bluffs restaurant, Deal’s Gap, and Bridal Veil Falls, and camping at Mount Pisgah Campgrounds and the Tsali Campground.
